Interventional Cardiology

Our interventional cardiologists take care of patients who have had a heart attack or a history of coronary artery disease.

Their goal is to remove or reduce blockage to the arteries of the heart through medical therapy, revascularization, or angioplasty balloons. Interventional cardiologists also work with patients to reduce the progression of heart disease by helping them identify and reduce risk factors.

Our team includes an electrophysiologist who treats patients with heart rhythm disorders; he also uses the Medtronic Reveal LINQ Insertable Cardiac Monitor System, the smallest implantable cardiac monitoring device available, to diagnose and monitor irregular heartbeats.

They also perform CryoAblation for the treatment of atrial fibrillation, a procedure that has been found to be more effective than medication.
